In 2009, I was a young mother building my new photography business and was fortunate enough to have a family friend who believed in my talent despite a sparse portfolio. Her daughter Caroline was getting married and they needed a photographer.

I was hired to take bridal and engagement portraits, and Caroline was so pleased with the photos she and her mom asked if I would photograph THE WEDDING.

The event was a big affair in downtown Houston. The ceremony was at Christ Church Cathedral and the reception was across the street at the Magnolia Hotel. Caroline and Trey were gorgeous; their decor was amazing. I loved capturing this day in their love story and couldn’t wait to do it again and again!
